The Cozy Tulip

Welcome to The Cozy Tulip, my personal online journal and creative endeavor.

The inspiration for this blog arose during a website design module in my digital marketing certificate course, where I rediscovered an unpublished website from my high school days called “Stars and Spoons.” It sparked memories of my aspiration to start a recipe blog. I have now renamed it to “The Cozy Tulip” and I am excited to bring this project to life.

The Cozy Tulip will be a digital collection of my activities and interests, a place where I can document recipes I try, books I read, my own personal reflections, recommendations, and new experiences I encounter.

Previously, I kept a bullet journal, but as everything becomes increasingly digital, I saw an opportunity to merge my journaling habits with web design practice through this blog.

While the future direction of The Cozy Tulip is uncertain, that is part of the excitement. It’s an evolving space where creativity and personal growth intersect.

Now, a bit about me…

I was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to Florida at the age of 10 to train at an international tennis academy. Since then, I’ve completed my education in the United States, recently graduating from the University of North Carolina.

In my leisure time, you’ll often find me experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, soaking up the sun outdoors, curling up on the couch with a good book, knitting while catching up on Netflix, or trying out various workout classes.

With this blog I hope to navigate life’s adventures, share insights, and explore the joys of creativity and discovery. Now time will only tell how this digital diary will evolve.
